Zero support from Host & Stay. Called the “24 hour” number during office hours and got a call back 24 hours later. Email response about the same. Questions I asked were never answered. We did receive a lot of automated messages though telling us what our responsibilities were.
Do bring everything you need because very little is supplied.
The parking is hard to find and navigate.
Pity, because it is a nice cottage, but I will steer clear of Host & Stay in the future.

we loved the decor and the layout of the house, everything we needed was there. Beds were comfy. It's convenient for local shopping as there is an Asda about 10 minutes away.

The parking is not great if you have more than one car ( the property can sleep 6)
We were there for a few days and the amount of sirens going past was very loud when trying to sleep, not the property's fault but maybe they need triple glazing.
The property had been cleaned however there were cobwebs/spiders around still and dust on the shelf in the bedroom.
The deposit for damage ...not known till booking.

Bright, clean and spacious interior.
Comfy beds, nice bed linen.

Garden area a bit hazardous for young children

place was well located in a little village with walks to shops, cafe and restaurant and only 7 mins to the local beach which was fab. we were a group of 4 adults and 1 child and we were comfortable but nowhere for additional people to sit. Amenities were ok, basic and not enough for the 5 days. we had to do a shop day 1 for toilet rolls, cleaning spray, cooking oil, dishwasher tablets, as well as baking trays to be able to cook. Bedrooms were done to a high standard and were very comfortable.

We had a wonderful 3 nights stay at the cottage. Its was very clean and spacious, we normally book a caravan but the cottage gave us the extra space and everyone had a comfortable private room. Location was great, 5 minutes drive into Saltburn seafront. We spent a day at Scarborough and a day at Hartlepool at the museum. Th what’s were very responsive the key safe check in and check out system made it quick and easy to access the house on arrival.
The house had full amenities for cooking and washing. Thanks for a great stay!

Everything was new and clean. The house had a garden and was pet friendly. The doors leading outside were great on a hot day. Simple and stylish design and clutter free. Extremely comfortable beds and a great shower.

The directions to parking at the rear of the property were a bit vague and the grass needed a cut !
Seating in the lounge area was fine for three of us ( comfortable sofa and chair) but not enough for 6 which the house sleeps.

The property was exceptionally clean, including the bedding and towels. The quality of the furnishings e.g. beds, TV etc were all very good. It was lovely to have some outdoor space that we could enjoy with our children. The location was in a quiet area. The parking right next to the property was ideal.

For us, we decided that we'd prefer to stay closer to the sea next time as it was a short drive away. The local area didnt really have much going on within immediate walking distance, but as an escape from the hustle and bustle of seafront towns, other visitors would like this i'm sure.
