Grosmont is a fantastic studio style balcony double room, with great sea views and an outside balcony with bistro table with chairs. Inside is a kitchen/refreshment area with an airfryer , microwave, sink, fridge, and kettle. This bright, modern open-plan style room comes with an shower room and a king-size double bed. This second floor room offers views across the beach to the East & West Piers and the outer harbour. The balcony provides a wonderful alfresco area to take morning coffee and an evening siesta relaxing with drinks.
The Sandbeck is on the seafront of Whitby’s West Cliff. It is in a central location for the beach, harbour and many of Whitby’s attractions. It is a short walk to Captain Cook’s Monument and the Famous Whalebones overlooking the harbour. Walk a little further and down the Khyber Pass steps and you’ll be at the harbour and the quayside with all its amusements, cafes, bars and famous fish and chips shops and restaurants. Alternatively take a stroll along the West Pier and look back at your accommodation on the West Cliff. To the front is the path down to the Blue Flag West Cliff beach and the Whitby Pavilion with its many events. The town centre and all its shops, cafes and restaurants are close by.

Grosmont at the Sandbeck is located on the third floor. There is a lift to all floors. Parking is on-street via a scratch card that can be purchased on site.

Loved everything about the Runswick Bay apartment, the location and sea views from the bay windows were lovely, the decor was of great quality and the cleaning was spotless. Home from home, dishwasher tablets, dish cloth, t towel, loo roll, hand wash all in the apartment too. Loved the £2.50 car parking scratch card for Zone W, saved us alot of money as the long stay car park is around 12 for 24hours the windows on the outside could have been a bit cleaner but it wasnt an issue and didnt spoil the view at all.
