The room looked nice, the appliances worked, and the bed was comfy, but that's about it. Check in at 4 pm (!) - check out at 10 am! I don’t think you need 6 h to clean that tiny flat. Latest check-in I’ve ever had; complete ripoff. Days before the stay I emailed to ask if they could provide an extra mattress, so I could give my mom the bed as she’d hurt her back. They said there shouldn’t be an issue. When I confirmed that’s what I wanted, they said that it wouldn’t be possible for this property, pretending they’d never said otherwise. When I asked what had changed, they just ignored me and repeated themselves. Having clearly stated that I would otherwise have to sleep on the couch (not a couch-bed), I expected to at least be provided with extra bedding, but no... They sent me a ton of useless emails for days, clearly coming from different people and often repeating themselves. The day before, they asked me to check in online and then they'd send me check-in info and the direct address; they didn't. All I had was a link that led me to the wrong house! The woman said it happens all the time! No signposting (she had to guide me). No answer when I called, and when I chased up it took 20 min to get a response. I had to wait in a pub. Their customer service is terrible and they act as if they’re doing you a favour! Stingy on the loo roll (1.5 roll for 2 of us, 3 nights!) and on the coffee (5 sachets all in all, 2 of which were decaf). One small sachet of shampoo and one of conditioner. There was a card saying “your room was cleaned today by___” which was left blank. The place stank of chlorine for 3 days, which made me worry that it hadn’t been rinsed off in the bathroom, and I had to rewash it. One key for 2 people, constant noise from what sounded like ventilation with no obvious way to turn it off. After I got back, I got a message offering me a 20% discount as an apology, with no details on how to claim it, despite repeated follow-ups.
