The lodge was lovely clean had every thing u needed load of fresh clean towels nice big tv comfortable beds The hot tub kept tripping at the mains loads so was not ideal when you are in it so u have to get out to turn it back on informed the owners so hopefully they can sort this going forward
Property was easy to find front room and kitchen spacious. It was very clean tidy modern. Absolutely spotless. Unfortunately. It was a mixed view. When we arrived it was around 7pm due to working that day. We got there unpacked and had a peek outside at the hot tub we noticed it was stone cold and absolutely no power. Not great when youve been to work and looked forward to relaxing. We contacted host and stay they talked us through steps but the fact remained there was no power. I was placed on hold a while while they tried to reach owner however there was no contact so they were unable to help. Around 9.30 a man cane and switched on the hot tub it hadnt been turned on at the mains (we couldnt find the mains) unfortunately it was going to take hours to heat up so we made the best of the situation and reassured an excited girl she would be to use it saturday morning. Unfortunately it was still only on 28 and was too cold to use so we made breakfast and the electric tripped all went off so my partner went out and switched back on. Hot tub had obviously reset. We decided to put the jets on see if we could speed the heat up every so often jwe would go out and check and there was no power. We checked the mains and it had tripped. This repeated from about 7.30am til about half 11 by this time we had decided to head out for some lunch and spent a few hours in morpeth when we arrived back the hot tub was thankfully hot and we managed a couple of hours however with all the fuss on Friday and Saturday morning it was very relaxed we didn’t get the experience we had paid for which was get away relax and soak in the hot tub when we wanted. When you’re paying a-lot of money and book with the whole purpose of the hot tub you do look forward and expect it. I am not sure if it is newly rented out as i know it’s new to booking.com so it may have been accidentally missed or it may have been teether problems but either way it wasn’t what we were expecting to happen and it wasn’t the getaway we had planned. The problem was reported to host and stay who did try their best to help.
