We are thrilled to announce the launch of our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Strategy, an essential step towards aligning our operations with sustainable and responsible business practice. This strategy encompasses a range of initiatives that will not only reduce our environmental footprint but will also enhance the well-being of the communities we serve and the staff we employ. We believe it’s our duty to regularly review and improve our operations to further benefit the communities we operate in.

This important development is set to positively impact the operations of the properties we manage as well as the environment. We continuously strive to enhance not only our services, but also the manner in which we deliver it with a strong focus on sustainability and conscientious practices.

We are pushing boundaries to create better places to live, work and stay, and our new development is an extension of this.

ESG comprises of three pillars: environmental, social and governance. All three pillars collectively contribute to effective performance with positive benefits for the wider markets, society and the world as a whole.

Host & Stay X Envirorental

We are thrilled to introduce our partnership with EnviroRental, the go-to source for short-term rental sustainability resources. This collaboration with EnviroRental allows us to provide our property owners with tangible, practical strategies for greening their business. Our commitment to our owners, to ourselves and to the environment is unwavering, which is why we wholeheartedly support EnviroRental’s mission.

Making a Difference

In the final quarter of this year and throughout next year, our team will be conducting thorough assessments of each property under our management, with the aim of identifying specific opportunities for improvement. We are confident that these efforts will not only have a positive impact on the environment but also contribute to long-term cost savings and enhance the overall value of your investment.

Research has shown that 76% of travellers are considering sustainability as a key deciding factor when looking to book accommodation next year, with nearly two thirds (65%) expressing that they would feel better about staying at a particular accommodation if they knew it had a sustainable certification or label. Not only this but the leading partners we already work with, such as Airbnb and Booking.com, are pushing initiatives/sustainability badges for those hosts who are working towards the shared goal of reducing our impact on the environment.
